The setting for part of your retreat is Hua Hin, a beach resort town in Thailand that is closely associated with Thai Royalty. The King of Thailand spends a lot of time in his summer palace here. You will also travel by boat to Ayutthaya where you will discover the ancient capital of Thailand with temple ruins and traditional Thai lifestyle. Travel to Chiang Mai, a culturally significant city in the North of Thailand. Participate in the Loi Krathong Lantern Festival. Some honour Buddha, others the Goddess of Water but by releasing lit lanterns into the sky, all consider it good luck and helps rid oneself of anger and negative thoughts. Delight yourself in great finds in the local markets. In addition, spend time in Bangkok where you will find world-class hospitality, fascinating spas, shopping and a nightlife that never ends!
